I guess you can say I'm depressed.
Or maybe I'm just stressed.
The stream of compliments lowers my confidence, my fears are unrepressed.
If I try, I will fail; disappointment comes again. An unwanted friend to my misery.
I do not try to fail, but I fail to try,
Forever asking myself why I am this way. How can I improve? I try and fail, I try again, to win. But lose…
Again. And again. And yet again.
My failures slap me in the face, overshadowing the good until it's gone.... Completely.
No light in my eyes the day in done. Has the evil inside truly won?
Or is there hope??
